IMG_1866This would typically be Medical Monday, but we just got back from the Razorback game against UT Vols in Knoxville.  We had a chance to stay in Pigeon Forge (Smoky Mountains) and enjoy the fall beauty!  I love how they decorate there, and I am so grateful we live so close!  I will let Scott contribute tomorrow instead.

Old Mill Pigeon Forge

I am exactly 4 weeks until my delivery date today!  I am schedule for a C-Section November 2 unless he comes earlier!  This past Wednesday he measured 6 lbs 9 oz.  At this point babies grow 1 ounce per day, so by now he would be 6 lbs 14 oz?!  I feel huge, and I’m not sure if I’ll make it the whole 4 weeks, but we will see what happens!  I hope he will still fit in the cozy 0-3 month sleepers I bought! It has been exhausting with so many appointments (I have weekly Non-stress tests and ultrasounds), but I have to say I have been spoiled by seeing him grow every step of the way and the assurance that everything is ok!  I remember with Elizabeth it was difficult to think that I would see her at 20 weeks and then wait until delivery!  I do understand that other countries never even have seen an ultrasound so I feel quite thankful for the technology we have here.

I am not excited about another C-Section, but at this point I didn’t want to try anything new.  (I had to have one with Anna because of placenta previa, and with Elizabeth I never even went into labor).  Now that he is measuring so large, I feel at peace knowing ahead of time I will have a C-section.  We are thrilled to be having a boy, and I can’t wait for him to be here!
